Yes On 8 | Twofold More the Child of Hell

This message appears at the end of a Yes on Proposition 8 video, promoted by ProtectMarriage.com
Most supporters... believe that marriage between a man and a woman is the ideal circumstance for most children to be raised by their own biological mother and father.
So much for adoption. But you knew that already, didn't you? More than half a million children languish in the foster care system in our country. About 40% of these will "age out" of the system. That means they will leave the system without being placed in a permanent home.

Statistics from the Pew Charitable Trust:
Studies have documented the serious challenges facing many youth who age out of foster care. One in four will be incarcerated within two years of leaving foster care, 1 in 5 will become homeless, only half will graduate from high school, and less than 3 percent receive college degrees.
So what does Proposition 8 mean? Fewer homes for foster children, and a more hostile environment for those who were ejected from their homes for being gay. There has to be a special place in Hell for those who cling to their vain beliefs at the expense of children. Jesus said,
But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in... Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
Matthew 23:13 KJV
PS I doubt the Black Eyed Peas permitted their song to accompany this video.

NOTE TO CHRISTIANS!

DO NOT SUPPORT PROP 8.

VOTE NO ON 8.

PROP 8 IS A TRICK BEING USED BY THE MORMON "CHURCH" TO GAIN CREDIBILITY.

THEY ARE NOT CHRISTIANS.

THEY WANT TO TAKE OVER THE NATION.

Um, as a reply to the last comment to this post:

I am a Mormon and I am Christian. I support Proposition 8 because I support God's plan for families. It is right that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (aka the Mormon church) should devote so much of their financial means and effort to supporting God's plan. Upholding God's will is what Christ would do.

God's plan for families, as backed by the US government, used to be that black people could not marry. God's plan for families, as backed by the US government, used to be that people of different races could not marry. For awhile God's plan for families, as backed by various states and the US government, was that Mormons didn't have the same rights as everyone else.

If God has a plan, do you not trust Him to be omnipotent and His love to be irresistible? When you seek to legislate God's love you admit that God is a powerless.

"I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain."
Galatians 2:21

Seriously, take a minute and think about the logic of this before you cast your vote.
