Who Must Sarah Palin Serve First?

Sarah Palin is a conservative Christian. I have to ask, does she submit to the will of her husband? Will she be conferring with Todd on issues of government and if there is a disagreement, whose will prevails?

Is it possible for Sarah Palin to uphold the U.S. Constitution or if she will have to defer to the wishes of her husband, as the Bible commands.

If you accuse me of being sexist then you're saying that the Bible is sexist. If you give Sarah Palin a pass, then you're admitting that your Bible is a Chinese buffet.

This is an awesome post.

Ya know, it's funny. Kennedy gave his speech about his belief "in an America Where the Separation of Church and State is Absolute" almost fifty years ago. Back then, it was pretty common for public service announcements on the radio to encourage listeners to go to some form of religious institution on Sundays.

Now, it's exactly the opposite. No more public admonitions, but politics is in bed with the church.

And Sarah? The Bible's a buffet and she will cherry pick the items that support her agenda.

Shadow Governor?

In the aftermath of the Walt Monegan firing, one question keeps surfacing over and over again; why does the governor's husband, Todd Palin appear to hold so much power?

After all, Nancy Murkowski or Susan Knowles were never accused of pressuring a commissioner or inappropriately sitting in on meetings that should have been private.

The stories started last year when Representative Ralph Samuels told me about going into a meeting, he thought would be private, with Governor Sarah Palin. Much to his surprise, Todd Palin was there and proceeded to sit through the entire meeting.

Other lawmakers have shared similar stories and were shocked at how inappropriate Todd's presence was at meetings with the governor. Yesterday on the Dan Fagan Show, Representative Jay Ramras mentioned that Todd was working lawmakers offices during the ACES debate.
