Stay classy, Florida

There's problems brewing in the hitch-o-sphere.

The Florida legislature has voted for a new Jesus license plate. When asked if he would veto the bill ordering the new plates, Florida Governor Charlie Crist commented,
"I would not veto those... No, I would not," Crist said. Asked if he has a problem with Jesus on a license plate, Crist responded "I don't. No." On the question of Church and state, Crist argued that "If they don't want one they don't have to buy one" and defended the plates on the basis that "I think it... What's it say? 'In God We Trust' on every single piece of monetary, coins and paper we have? I think it's fine."

Charlie Crist has been an ultra-right winger for as long as I've known about him! He pushed for faith-based crap and vouchers for parochial schools many years ago.

His "moderateness" is a cover. When push comes to shove, Charlie will end up on the far right side of almost every issue.

He's just not as obvious and stupid about it as was Jeb Bushy.

And in other news: Jesus has enormous testicles.
